2026 Scholarship Call Open to Study in Taiwan

Taiwan is a strategic destination for academic and linguistic training in Asia. For the 2026 academic year, the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan has opened two scholarship categories for Spanish nationals, aged 18 or older, with at least a high school diploma.

Scholarship Categories

1. HUAYU Enrichment Scholarship: Mandarin Chinese Learning

This scholarship is designed for language study at selected language centers in Taiwan. A total of 30 slots are available:

• 10 scholarships for a one-year duration.

• 20 scholarships for a six-month duration.

2. TAIWAN Scholarship: University Studies

Intended for individuals wishing to pursue official degrees at Taiwanese universities, either in Mandarin Chinese or English. 4 slots are offered for the following levels:

• Bachelor’s Degree: maximum 4 years.

• Master’s Degree: maximum 2 years.

• Doctoral Degree: maximum 4 years.

Deadlines and Application

The application period will be open from February 1st to March 31st, 2026.

Interested candidates must meet the age, nationality, and minimum educational requirements specified in the official call.
