TU Darmstadt INSPIRED 2021 "Extraterrestrial Greenhouse" Program

The Technical University of Darmstadt announces the 2021 edition of INSPIRED, the International Project Week for Interdisciplinary Research-Oriented Digital Learning.
This is an initiative of TU Darmstadt in the framework of the Euroepan University "UNITE!", in which UPC also participates.

The 2021 program will be conducted in collaboration with the European Space Operations Center (ESOC) to develop the concept of " Extraterrestrial Greenhouse: Diving into an Multidisciplinary Toolbox to Challenge Gravity and Ensure Sustainability in Offshore Travel and Space Exploration".

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's edition will be entirely ONLINE.

 

Application deadline

  • Until January 31, February 14, 2021 on the INSPIRED website.
  • A letter of motivation and academic transcripts are required.

Eligibility and requirements

  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor or Masters' program in UPC.
  • Have an interest in engineering and/or natural sciences.
  • To have an interest in interdisciplinary research within an international environment.
  • The program could be recognised for up to 6 ECTS credits (please check with your UPC school/faculty)

Duration and phases

  • Preparation Phase: March 22nd, 2021 - June 14th, 2021
  • Project phase with the virtual team: June 14, 2021 - July 2, 2021

Cost

  • 600€.
  • Students from UNITE member universities (like UPC students) have full scholarship.
