"ULISSES" program of Lisbon University

The University of Lisbon (U.Lisboa) announces its 2021 edition of ULISSES (University of Lisbon Interdisciplinary Studies on Sustainable Environment and Seas), the International Project Program for Research-Oriented Interdisciplinary Digital Learning. (International Project Week for Interdisciplinary Research-Oriented Digital Learning), with the themes of: Ocean Sciences, Environment, Health Sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Engineering.


This is an initiative of ULisboa within the framework of the European university UNITE!, in which the UPC participates, and based on the experience of the INSPIRED program (open in new window) of TU Darmstadt (also framed in UNITE!).


Deadline to apply

Until February 28, 2021 on the ULISSES website (go to the section entitled "application").



Documents for the application

A CV, a letter of motivation, an academic transcript (you can attach your academic transcript in English, taken from the e-secretariat), and a certificate of knowledge of English are required.


Requirements

  •     Be enrolled in a University Degree or Master's program at the UPC.
  •     Be interested in the topics of the ULYSSES program (open in new window)
  •     Have an interest in interdisciplinary research in an international environment.
  •     The program could validate ECTS credits (check with your school or faculty).

Duration and phases

  •     Preparation phase: March 22, 2021 - May 28, 2021
  •     Project phase with the team: 3 weeks, from 5 to 21 July 2021
