  • I am an international student enrolled in a UPC masters’ program and I would like to return to my country. Can I interrupt my activity in my subjects and restart it later, once the situation is stabilised and I can come back? In that case, will I have to enrol again in these subjects (for the “matricula”), for next semester?

You can continue with the UPC academic activities online. You do not need to interrupt your activity. Please check in your UPC school/faculty about the possible assessment of your subjects.

If you do not continue with the online activities and you abandon them this semester, next semester you will have to enrol again these subjects.

Academic year 2020-2021

  • I am an international student enrolled in a UPC doctorate program and I went back to my country due to the COVID-19 emergency. If I want to interrupt during some months my UPC doctorate, at the beginning of next academic year and until the situation is stabilized, can I academically do it?

Please contact with your thesis director, and consult about your situation. Additionally, please contact with the Coordination of your Doctorate program and/or the UPC Doctorate School, and follow their indications.

  • I am an international student enrolled in a UPC masters’ program and I went back to my country due to the COVID-19 emergency. If I want to interrupt during some months my UPC doctorate, at the beginning of next academic year and until the situation is stabilized, can I academically do it?

At UPC we are working so that the academic year 2020/21 is run as usually. Consequently, admissions are managed regularly and the enrolment calendars are maintained.

UPC wants to keep a positive state of mind, while still being realistic and responsible and, therefore, it is too early to know if there would be a delay in the start of the semester, or if the classes would start as online. As soon as a decision is taken, we will immediately inform you.
