The International Relations Bureau promotes UNITECH at the company forums of ETSEIB and EETAC
May 19, 2025
On May 6th and 14th, the International Relations Bureau participated in the ETSEIB Forum and the Aerotelecom Forum respectively to present the UNITECH master's student mobility programme.
The International Relations Bureau (GRI) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) has participated in the company forums of the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) and the Castelldefels School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering (EETAC) to promote the UNITECH programme, a mobility programme that includes an academic exchange, an internship in a foreign company, and 3 coaching modules taught by staff from the member companies of the network.
The UNITECH network has nine academic partner universities and sixteen business partner companies. This programme, created 25 years ago, is a benchmark in STEM leadership development and aims to train talented young students so that they can successfully manage the challenges of the future. Each year, 10 master's students from the UPC have the opportunity to participate in UNITECH, where they enhance their leadership skills and access a top-level international networking platform.
The GRI's participation in the company forums was supported by the Barcelona branch of the UNITECH Alumni Association and Ms. Belinda Haas, UNITECH programme coordinator, who attended the ETSEIB forum.
The UNITECH programme
Eight UPC centres participate in UNITECH, and master's students from these centres can apply to the programme. More information on how it works can be found on the UNITECH website, and the eligibility requirements can be found on the GRI's website. For specific inquiries, you can also contact the Deputy Directorate of International Relations of the UPC centre.
Students interested in participating in the 2026-2027 academic year will be able to attend several information sessions that will take place at the UPC between October and November, coinciding with the pre-registration period, which runs from mid-October to December 12, 2025, through the UNITECH portal.
For more information and inquiries, please contact the GRI by email.
Company Forums at the UPC
The goal of the company forums is to be a meeting point between companies and students. The forums are a magnificent opportunity to have a first contact with the professional future, learn about the career prospects of the studies, apply for the first job offer, and participate in the talks, discussions, and training workshops organised there.
