From 29 November to 1 December, the Unite! alliance and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) are organising the 4th Unite! Dialogue, whose title is “Past, Present and Future”. The meeting, which will be held in hybrid format (online and in person at the UPC), will offer participants the opportunity to discuss the various topics and activities developed in Unite! over the last few months.

The 4th Unite! Dialogue, which can be followed live, includes, for the first time, a Branding Event, a day aimed at promoting the visibility of the alliance and improving its commitment to its various stakeholders. Representatives of institutions, companies and governments, as actors external to the alliance, will debate with Unite! representatives on five key topics: ethics and technology; leadership in smart technologies; and the impact of the alliance on European higher education, on regional innovation ecosystems and on society globally. These sessions will be open to all interested parties and society in general.

In addition, the 4th Unite! Dialogue will host the regular meetings of Students in Unite! for Representation and Empowerment (SURE!), the Unite! Steering Committee and the Unite! Governance Platform, as well as the meetings of the different task forces and work packages of the seven universities that are part of the alliance. The 4th Unite! Dialogue will also host the inaugural meeting of the Unite! Academic Forum and the kick-off meeting of the Unite! innovation community in Barcelona.

The sessions, except those of the specific governing bodies, are open to the participation of the entire Unite! community. Those that are face-to-face will take place in strict accordance with the measures established by health authorities.
