Ignasi Terraza

The ceremony to confer an honorary doctoral degree on jazz pianist Ignasi Terraza has taken place in Barcelona on 21 March 2024. Ignasi Terraza, a graduate from the Barcelona School of Informatics, was the first person with visual impairment to graduate in Informatics in Spain.

With this award, over its history, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. BarcelonaTech (UPC) has awarded 43 honorary doctoral degrees
