UPC campuses
Barcelona-Diagonal North campus
On the North Campus, the Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB), the Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) and the Barcelona School of Civil Engineering (ETSECCPB) bring together students, researchers and research centres on a campus that's a pace-setter in the field of technological innovation, both within Spain and internationally. The North Campus is also home to university services such as the Rector Gabriel Ferraté Library, a sports centre, a shopping area, and a number of student associations. The Nexus buildings, home to many companies that work closely with the University, are also located in this area.
Barcelona-Diagonal South campus
On the South Campus, the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB), the Barcelona School of Building Construction (EPSEB), the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) and the School of Mathematics and Statistics (FME) share space with the Barcelona Technology Park, where UPC research centres and groups work on projects in collaboration with industry partners in fields such as virtual reality, robotics, informatics, mechatronics and bioengineering.
Barcelona/Sant Adrià de Besòs-Diagonal-Besòs campus
On the Diagonal-Besòs Campus, the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE) is located on the new campus which bring together spaces for education and research in engineering, with a particular focus on innovation related to chemical and materials.
Near, The Barcelona 22 district is home to the School of Professional; Executive Development, which is located in the Tech Talent Centre building. The School provides training in excellence for professionals and executives working in businesses related to engineering, architecture and information and communication technologies.
Barcelona-Nautical campus
In the Port of Barcelona area, the Barcelona School of Nautical Studies (FNB), the University's oldest school, is the destination for students training in various fields of maritime engineering.
Baix Llobregat campus
The Baix Llobregat Campus in Castelldefels is home to the research centres and companies that make up the Mediterranean Technology Park. On the still-growing campus, future telecommunications engineers and air navigation professionals pursue studies at the Castelldefels School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering (EETAC), while agricultural engineers train at the Barcelona School of Agri-Food and Biosystems Engineering (EEABB).
Manresa campus
In the city of Manresa, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) has the Manresa School of Engineering (EPSEM) and the Manresa Technology Centre. The School is the only institution in Catalonia that offers studies in mining engineering. Students can also pursue technical studies in telecommunications and industrial engineering.
Sant Cugat del Vallès campus
In Sant Cugat del Vallès, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) has the Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV), an institution that takes an innovative approach to many aspects of education. In their first year of study, architecture students have the opportunity to get hands-on design experience in the Architecture and Design Workshop, a subject that's the backbone of the School's educational programme.
Terrassa campus
With 5,400 students, four schools and numerous services, the Terrassa Campus has become one of the most dynamic urban university spaces. The history and tradition of the engineering school- the Terrassa School of Industrial, Aerospace and Audiovisual Engineering (ESEIAAT) — are combined with the fresh, distinctive character of the Terrassa School of Optics and Optometry (FOOT) and the Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Centre (CITM). The Campus is home to research centres and laboratories that are internationally recognised for excellence in the fields of industrial engineering, optics and optometry, and textile engineering.
Vilanova i la Geltrú campus
Together, the Vilanova i la Geltrú School of Engineering (EPSEVG), with a history that goes back over a century, and the Vilanova i la Geltrú Technology Centre set the standard for university education in the county of Garraf. The School was the first public university school of Catalonia to offer diplima-level courses in telecommunications engineering, and more recently, it pioneered the introduction of the bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering.
