The bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering combines the UPC's expertise in technology with agricultural sciences and biology. It aims to produce professionals with a capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship who will contribute to making agriculture technologically advanced, economically sustainable and environmentally and animal welfare friendly. You will be given multidisciplinary training in areas such as health, nutrition and animal welfare; livestock production systems; extensive and fruit and vegetable farming; irrigation technology and agricultural machinery and buildings; crop protection; waste management; agroecology; and the production of organic food.
The training includes fieldwork and laboratory and computer practicals that allow students to master plant and animal production techniques, farm and livestock management, and quality control and safety mechanisms for food and other agricultural products, and to study the economic viability of farming companies and cooperatives.- Duration
