Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering (interuniversity UPC-UB degree)

Barcelona School of Civil Engineering (ETSECCPB)

The aim of the bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering, which is offered jointly with the University of Barcelona (UB), is to produce general engineers with a good grounding in basic sciences and a broad vision of geological engineering. You will learn about geological and geotechnical site characterisation for the execution of engineering works, analysis of soil behaviour, prediction of geological hazards, and evaluation of resources. You will develop the knowledge and skills needed to carry out geological and geotechnical studies and testing for public works and environmental impact studies, drilling for exploratory purposes and site characterisation, and quality control and instrumentation projects.
