The master’s degree in Vision Science Research offers comprehensive training that combines biological, physical-optical, neurophysiological and clinical aspects to complement basic and clinical education in vision science. 
 
It is also designed for students who wish to pursue a research or academic career in vision science, which requires undertaking doctoral studies. Graduates may continue in academia or find a job in optical practices, hospitals, clinics and private ophthalmology centres.

Academic requirements for admission to master's degrees
Specific requirements
This master’s degree is intended primarily for graduates in biomedical fields such as Medicine, Optics and Optometry, Nursing, Biology, Veterinary Science and Biomedical Engineering, as well as in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Computer or Telecommunications Engineering.
 
Admission criteria
Spanish level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), except for students whose native language matches the language of instruction.  Students who have completed upper secondary education or have an equivalent qualification in the language of instruction of the master’s degree are exempt from this requirement.
