The master's degree in Women’s, Gender and Citizenship Studies, coordinated by the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and with the UPC as a participant, provides advanced education in the field of women's studies and gender that is directly applicable to today's social problems. Students are trained to serve as equality agents—professionals that will become essential in Spain following the application of the Equality Act, under which all companies with more than 250 employees will be required to draw up an equality plan.

The master’s course is interuniversity and will be taught through classroom and blended learning and on-line. Face-to-face classes will be taught in the Casa de Mar (Barcelona).
