Biography

Paco Navallas has degrees in Public Administration and Management from the Pompeu Fabra University and Political and Administration Sciences from the University of Barcelona.

He has been a member of the UPC's statutory staff since 1999 and has served as the head of the Academic Management Service, the head of Projects and Labour Relations at the Office of the General Manager, the director of the Academic Area, the director of the Staff and Organisation Area and twice the University's general secretary. He was also the president of the University Coexistence Committee and the secretary of the Anti-Fraud Commission and the collegial body responsible for the UPC's internal communication channel and anti-fraud mailbox.

He is a public management professional who specialises in university management: academic policies, university staff policies, public budget management, institutional organisation of universities and institutional relations. He has co-authored five publications in these areas of specialisation.
