The scheduled conditions for the first semester exams remain unchanged

UPC statement to the university community, issued on 5 January, regarding the latest public information on COVID-19 in Catalonia. The new measures approved are effectives since Thursday, January 7, and will be valid for 10 days. Given the coincidence with exam dates in many of the UPC centers, we would like to inform you that they will take place following the format established by the coordinator.

05/01/2021 UPC statement:

The PROCICAT, led by the Departments of Health and Interior of catalan Government, approved on Monday, January 4, 2021 the review of the existing prevention and control measures and to carry out new restrictions.

As for personal mobility, it is limited to the municipal perimeter throughout the week, with the same exceptions as for entering and leaving Catalonia. The new measures approved are effectives since Thursday, January 7, and will be valid until February 7.

This measure also considers the extension of the measures applied since October 13 2020 in relation to university teaching.

Given the coincidence with exam dates in many of the UPC centers, we would like to inform you that:

They will take place following the format established by the coordinator.

In order to ensure the inter-municipal mobility necessary for students to take exams or internships, they are urged to provide the traffic authorities with the following documentation:

- self-responsible certificate
- Enrollment document (e-secretaria)
- exams calendar

The conditions of mobility for PAS and PDI do not change and are stipulated in the RESOLUTION SLT / 1/2021, of 4 January, by which the measures in matter of public health for the containment of the epidemic outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the territory of Catalonia are extended and modified  (Catalan version).
