How can "OMI" office help me?

  • The UPC International Students Office ("OMI" office) is at your disposal, as UPC international student (or relative of a UPC student), for any question or doubt about the TIE renewal procedure.

  • From OMI office we receive the updates and changes in the instructions for this procedure directly from the legal authorities ("Subdelegación de Gobierno"). And we:
    - digest them (we translate them in clear instructions about what is valid or not);
    - and we translate them to English.
    We put all this information in our website, in Spanish and in English, for all UPC students and their relatives.
    (Please note that if you are not a UPC student or relative, these instructions do not apply to you. If you are from another university, please contact your International Relations office. If you are not in a university, please contact directly the Subdelegación de Gobierno.)
  • If you bring us or send us the documents of your application, we can check them BEFORE you submit them. At OMI office we can assess you and indicate you what is valid or not, what is missing, how to replace what is incorrect, when it is more convenient for you to apply, possible difficulties, etc.

  • If you receive an official request for missing/additional documents ("requerimiento"), we can check your documents BEFORE you submit them. Please note that this is a DELICATE moment because you only have one option to amend/correct your application. But if you fail, you would get a denial and you would get illegal.
    In OMI office we can assess you and will indicate you what is valid or not, what is missing, how to replace what is incorrect, etc.

  • If you receive an official notification of DENIAL, at OMI office we can assess you about to put an exceptional appeal.
